YOGA NIDRA

YOGA NIDRA
Yoga nidra is a practice of yogic sleep allowing you to enter a state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleeping. Your body and brain get a chance to fully relax. You will need a SANKALPA you can make this before starting the video of when in the guided practice. This meditation reduces stress, help sleep and can heal psychological wounds. Tutorial on UJJAYI Breath ("Victorious" breath). This is a wonderful Panayama Breath. tranquillising breath that has a heating effect on the body. It soothes and calms the nervous system. Will help to relax you. People who are introvert may not benefit from this breath, those with heart problems do not practice with bandhas or retention. This is a tutorial that is broken down into the inhale and exhale...using the breath open to begin with to get familiar...then once familiar closing the mouth using the sounds "saaaaa" and "haaaaa".
