This morning's smoothie drink consisted of 5 Oranges and 1 organic apple.
Yum. When doing just the orange to begin with the consistency was watery and lovely, I knew that by adding apple it would go more lumpy but i just couldn't bare to see the beautiful apples sit there screaming at me to be eaten. So i popped an apple in to allowing the consistency to thicken up slightly.
What a delight - it tasted yum yum yum scrum...So sweet!
So this morning i have had a huge load of vitamin C and also vitamin A from the oranges among other benefits it contains, along with an antioxidant called quercetin which are found in Red apples (my apple was red). Yum
