UJJAYI BREATH TUTORIAL

Tutorial on UJJAYI Breath ("Victorious" breath). This is a wonderful Panayama Breath. tranquillising breath that has a heating effect on the body. It soothes and calms the nervous system. Will help to relax you. People who are introvert may not benefit from this breath, those with heart problems do not practice with bandhas or retention. This is a tutorial that is broken down into the inhale and exhale...using the breath open to begin with to get familiar...then once familiar closing the mouth using the sounds "saaaaa" and "haaaaa". It will help you to eliminate fatique, depression and reduce those stress levels..... We will gently move into postures using support and props to help us relax deeply. By doing a regular restorative practice you will become less vunrable to stress and stress related illnesses, along with maintaining good health. .....
