Yummy in my tummy a healthy smoothie.
Today i made one of my favourite smoothies and wanted to share with you all!
I wanted to tell you the ingredients and the benefits of each and every ingredient, just so you know how much goodness is in one beautiful, tasty delicious drink.
Ingredients
1. Blueberries (about cup full)
2. Apples (2 half)
3. Bananas (2)
4. Sesame seeds
5. Honey
6. Almonds
Ok now let me go through the benefits. So we already know that Blueberries are full of antioxidant's and guess what they help to fight the ageing process...Yipi we can stay younger for longer with Blueberries :-)
Apples are wonderful fruits that have been researched lots and they are known to be a fighter of disease, so an apple a day can keep the doctor away after all.
The bananas are full of potassium which help to keep the heart and nervous system healthy, as well as limiting the chances of getting kidney stones. It also stops the loss of calcium which helps reduce the risk of osteoporosis. http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/potassium-000320.htm

Finally Almonds, they are good for the skin and complexion. They are good for the brain, Heart and again like all the above reduces risks of disease!
So if you are jumping up and down on your seat with the realisation that you can not only keep yourself looking younger but you keep your organs, nerve system and whole body healthier and able to fight and reduce the risk of disease, then get in your kitchen and get your smoothie maker out :-)
And it tastes so delicious and it is like a meal in itself, and less washing up may i add. So now you have no excuse not to make yourself one.
