These small red berries are more powerful than one could believe.
These berries originated from the Himalayan region of Tibett and is now also grown on a goji plantation in Ningxia region of china near the 'Yellow River'. There are over 40 different types of Goji berries that can be found all over the world, but still the Tibetan berries are said to carry the highest nutrients. They have been used in the Asian Medicine for many years as a healing plant and it is only now that the West are becoming aware of the properties that these little berries have.
The plant itself grows on vines in Valleys as you can see on the image below.
They are then made into either dried berries, powder or juice form for us to purchase.
So what do these berries have in them that are so important. Well studies have been done on these small little things and they are known to have the highest antioxidant level in the world!
